The Chief and Council of Ugpi’ganjig provide leadership, guidance, and governance on behalf of the community. Working together to uphold the values, rights, and interests of community members, Chief and Council are responsible for making decisions that support the well-being, growth, and future of Ugpi’ganjig.

Through collaboration, transparency, and community engagement, Chief and Council oversee initiatives, programs, and services that strengthen our Nation while preserving our culture, traditions, and Mi’gmaq identity.
