Community Notice – Housing Department Service Requests

💥 The Housing Department would like to notify community members that all service request for Housing needs (I.e., electrician, plumbers, etc.) must be put forward as a request to Housing. The Housing Department will than assess the request and determine the next steps, such as whether a tradesman will be contacted. Housing will NOT pay invoices for work done that were not requested by the Director of Capital, Housing & Infrastructure and/or supported by a Purchase order, signed by the Director.
All suppliers and Tradesman have been notified of this process and will now redirect community members back to the Housing Department, should it not be a personally financed maintenance call.
