Councillor D LaBillois Bjorndal Update for December 1–5, 2025

I write to you today to keep my lines of communication open and just to let you know I will be partaking in the Assembly of First Nations Special Chief’s Assembly in Ottawa next week December 1–5, 2025.

This is one of the biggest forums of the year where there are many participants representing their communities and organizations. I’m not one that likes to travel too often on the Band’s behalf but I feel this is an important meeting to attend because of the attendance it will have, it will be instrumental for lobbying for projects underway and future projects, and being able to network with other youth in leadership positions, while also enhancing my leadership skills and learning new things along this journey.

I will always represent our community in good faith, and I will ensure it’s a productive week on our communities behalf and I will have a follow up on my week after its done.
