Dear community members, we have exciting news!!!!
Ugpi’ganjig Health Center is hosting Zaagi’idiwin Full Spectrum Indigenous Doula Training from May 25-28,2020
A Doula’s role is to provide emotional, spiritual and physical support to mothers and families prenatally, during childbirth, breastfeeding and newborn/infant care. To have people culturally trained will bridge the gap between communities and Health authorities.
We have 12 spots reserved for community members, the fee will be covered for community members. Non-community members are welcome as well there is a $1000 registration fee
