Overview

• The Brunswick Smelter team is establishing a $1,000 bursary for students from each of the communities of Ugpi’ganjig/Eel River Bar and Oinpegitjoig/Pabineau First Nations as well as one additional $1,000 bursary for the remainder of the communities represented by Mi’gmawe’l Tplu’taqnn Inc.
• This $1,000 bursary has been established for five years beginning in the 2023/24 academic year.
• Applications are currently being sought for the 2024/2025 academic year.
• The bursary will be open to students pursuing studies in science, environment, engineering or trades and is open to students regardless of their year of study.
