What an unforgettable moment for our community! This past Monday, Ugpi’ganjig proudly celebrated the Inauguration Ceremony of our newly elected Chief and Council, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for our Nation.

Over 130 guests joined us for this momentous occasion, including elders, families, local dignitaries, and community members. The day began with heartfelt prayers and traditional songs, followed by the ceremonial swearing-in of our leadership — a powerful reminder of the values and traditions we carry forward.

After the formal ceremony, guests gathered to share in a delicious community meal, fostering connection and celebration.
