Dear Community Members and Staff;

As part of phase 2 of the Eel River Bar First Nations COVID-19 return to work policy, I am pleased to announce that Child and Family Services will increase its regular operations at a reduced capacity as of August 4th, 2020. Our offices will be opened from Mondays to Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. we will be closed on Fridays.   We will also be closed on Monday August 3rd for New Brunswick day. This plan will continue to be monitored and reassessed by the Chief and Council and the Pandemic Team which may result in further changes to our hours of operations. This will continue until the Province of New Brunswick enters the green phase of recovery. The Eel River Bar First Nation COVID-19 return to work policy has been followed strictly and will continue to be enforced to assure everyone’s safety and wellbeing.

Essential Child Protection Services will continue to be available by contacting our main office number during our operating hours at 684-5654 after hour services can be accessed any time after 4 p.m. at 987-9911. We are doing very well as a province in containing this pandemic, it is not time to stop being cautious. I urge everyone to continue to respect the Public Health Guidelines to continue to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Together we are making a difference.

Please do not hesitate to contact Child and Family Services with respect to any concerns you may have.
