Community Comprehensive Plan
Comprehensive Community Plans, also known as CCP, take a holistic look at the community. For the case of Ugpi’ganjig, our CCP will focus on the following topic areas;
Topic Areas for Ugpi’ganjig’s CCP |
|
Economic Development |
Lands |
Education |
Language & Culture |
Employment & Training |
Natural Resources |
Governance |
Social Development |
Health |
Sports & Recreation |
Housing & Infrastructure |
CCPs establish a community vision and objectives that guide all other planning and decision-making (e.g. Treaty implementation, development of an Economic Development Plan, Housing Plan, Land Use Plan). CCPs include community values and provide a roadmap for the community’s future. CCPs also include action plans for how the community can work towards its vision. As Ugpi’ganjig grows and changes, a CCP can grow and change with it.
