PSA: Snow Removal for Elders

As Chief and Council continues to explore ways to make OWN SOURCE REVENUES accessible and fair for all Ugpi’ganjig Community Members wherever they may live, some changes have been made to the ELDER SNOW REMOVAL PROGRAM.

Beginning this year, snow removal service will no longer be provided for ages 60-69 and will be provided solely to those who are 70+.

This change will not affect those community members who are registered as ASSISTED LIVING with the Health Center. All ASSISTED LIVING clients must meet the requirements as set out through the Health Department. If you have questions regarding the ASSISTED LIVING program, please reach out directly to the Health Department.
