Update from Child & Family Services regarding community recovery transition to Orange (Fox) Phase

Response Measures: COVID-19
Dear Community Members and Staff;
Today Chief medical officer Dr. Jennifer Russell announced that as of 12:00 a.m. on January 6th, 2021, the entire province will be moving into the Orange Phase of the Provincial Recovery Plan due to the current COVID-19 outbreak. As outlined in The Eel River Bar Community Recovery Phase Guidelines, we will also move to the ORANGE (FOX) phase.
Child & Family Services operations will be at a reduced capacity as of January 11th, 2021. Our offices will be opened on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Child & Family staff will be available by appointment only. The Pandemic Response Team will re-evaluate the situation regularly and will and provide further direction on operations moving forward. These measures are in place to protect all community members during these unprecedented times.
Essential Child Protection Services will continue to be available by contacting our on-call services at 987-9911. I encourage everyone to continue to follow all recommendations from public health officials. Together we are making a difference.
