Public Security Manager

The Public Security Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating Eel River Bar First Nation’s (ERBFN) public security, community safety, and emergency management functions. This role provides oversight to Peacekeepers and the Emergency Management Officer, ensuring that community safety initiatives, emergency preparedness activities, enforcement efforts, and response protocols are carried out effectively.

The Public Security Manager plays a key leadership role in promoting a safe, secure, and prepared community environment. The role supports emergency planning, public safety programming, incident response, risk mitigation, and coordination with internal departments and external agencies.

Working closely with the Director of Fisheries, the Public Security Manager helps ensure that public security and emergency management activities align with ERBFN’s operational priorities, community needs, and regulatory requirements.
